What is a flexible glass sling?

Daily inspection mainly includes the following two aspects


1. External wear and tear: The rope yarn breaks due to external wear and tear caused by friction, or the rope yarn is cut by hard objects and breaks.


2. Internal damage: in the repeated loading process, the internal damage is caused by winding or hard debris embedded in the rope; before and after use, should visually check the fiber rope and metal accessories.


Precautions for using the sling:


1. It is not allowed to use the sling under overload. If several belts are used at the same time, the load should be distributed as evenly as possible on several lifting belts.


2. It is not allowed to connect the soft ring to any device that may damage the soft ring. The suspension device to which the soft ring is connected should be smooth without any sharp edges and its size and shape should not tear the sewing place of the sling.


3. Do not drag when moving the sling and the goods.


4. Do not tie knots or twist the sling, and do not let the sling hang the goods for too long.


5. Do not use unsheathed slings to carry goods with sharp corners and edges.


6. Do not pull the sling out of the load-bearing state when the goods stay on the sling.


7. If the sling is used under high-temperature conditions or an abnormal environment, such as lifting chemicals, it should be used according to the guidance and recommendations of the technical department.


8. After the sling becomes dirty or is used in an environment prone to acid or alkali, it should be rinsed with cold water immediately.


9. The sling should be stored under the condition that it is protected from light and ultraviolet radiation, and should not be stored near open fire or other heat sources.


10. Considering the structure of the sling, it is not allowed to repair the damaged sling by itself, and it will be regarded as scrap according to its usage.


Flexible glass sling daily maintenance and maintenance:

1. Flexible glass sling should be properly stored and kept away from high-temperature environments, chemicals, etc. to prevent the sling from being damaged or weakened.


2. The storage place should be ventilated, dry, and avoid direct sunlight. Suspension or placement of the sling device should be used with anti-corrosion material isolated pad and stud.


3. The fibers of flexible glass slings stained with corrosive media should be rinsed clean and placed in a ventilated place without direct sunlight to dry naturally, and shall not be dried by baking, roasting, and other methods.


4. Flexible glass sling shall not be squeezed by hard objects, knocking, or impact, so as not to cause mechanical damage to the spreader.


5. Flexible glass slings such as kinks, knots, damage to the outer protective layer, and the inner core exposed, should stop using and scrap. Repeated use after repair is strictly prohibited.


6. Use the flexible glass sling in strict accordance with the relevant technical parameters during operation.


7. It is forbidden to use the flexible glass sling to lift high-temperature objects.


8. Try to avoid lifting objects with sharp edges. When unavoidable, protective measures should be taken to separate the corners of the sling from the load.
