Tricolor Resin Wheel/Three Color Band Resin Wheel
Tricolor resin wheel, is also called three color band resin wheel is made of premium resin bond and high quality metal, sintered in high pressure and temperature. Mainly used on shape machine for rough grinding and fine grinding, can take place of other diamond wheels and resin wheels.
There are three layers of the working sand, the inner layer with small grit sand is used for coarse grinding, the medium layer with medium sand is used for the grinding between rough grinding and fine grinding , the outside layer with big grit sand is used for fine grinding. Normally, when the glass edges are ground by the shape edging machine, need to grind by the diamond wheel first, resin wheel second, polishing wheel third, wool felt wheel at last. But with this three color band resin wheel, the process changed to tricolor resin wheel first, polishing wheel second, wool felt wheel at last. So both the time and labor are saved, greatly improved the working efficiency.
The three color band resin wheel have good grinding effect, the glass edges are fine after the grinding by it, there is no scratches or trace left, it can grind the edges with fine precision. Can be polished in the followed process directly without any renovation.
The horizontal axis of the shape edging machine need to be tilted with an angle (around 3°~15°). Because the three color band resin wheel have three layers with different grits, so the wheel couldn’t contact with the glass with two sides, only one side can contact with the glass, to avoid the glass edges which is rough ground will be rough ground again.
The tricolor resin wheel can be custom made according different parameters.
