The factors which affect the washing quality to the glass cleaning machine.

The glass cleaning machine is the specialized equipment for glass surface cleaning and drying treatment, it is used before the mirror production, film coating, tempering process, hot bending process or insulation glass production. The major components are drive line system, washing system, water cleaning system, pure water cleaning system, cold and hot air-drying system, electronic control system and so on. According the requirements, the medium and large glass cleaning machine are equipped with manual or pneumatic glass turning system and light detection system. The glass cleaning machine is also affected by the external factors, which affect the washing quality.

1 The transfer rate is too fast. If the glass transfer rate is too fast, then the washing and cleaning are not consistent, there is still dirty left on the glass surface. The drying process is too short, the water on the glass surface couldn’t be absorbed completely. Then to lower the transfer speed moderately is the solution.

2 The washing water is too dirty. The washing water couldn’t be changed in time, or the water tank couldn’t be cleaned enough, will lead to the white mark on the glass surface. To avoid this problem, need to change the washing water and clean the water tank in time.

3 Too high hardness for the water. Affected by the source of the water, there are many water insoluble mineral substance in the water. After the drying process, many slight white grain will leave on the glass surface, the scum could also be found in the water tank. So need to add the sand core filter on the water inlet. If the conditions is permitting, can change the washing water to the ion water, then this problem could be solved.

4 The working proficiency also affected the washing quality of the float glass. So need to enhance the training to the workers and let the workers to be familiar with the machine as early as possible.
